What Is Virtual Warfare?
Virtual Warfare (Roleplay Fighting) is not a Guide that the teaches How To Play, but a System that gives a step-by-step process on What To Play. It is the Art of the System before it is respectively broken down and separated into different Rulesets. Ie; PC, MP, RM and so on.
As a whole, the Art of Virtual Warfare creates, not Rules, which are created by other people, but Laws that are created by the system itself. These laws are called the "Laws of Stability". Without them, there would be no reason or possible way to Roleplay Fight.
Therefore, Virtual Warfare is based on levels: Basic, Advance, Quantum, Metaphysical and Pataphysical. For the level is determined by how well one can put each level in an “IC” (In Character) form without Auto or GM. In other words, sequentially, RM, UM, MP, PC, and so on (if there were another), would be an example of how the levels would follow after one another.
To legitimize the concept of such, the System of Virtual Warfare focuses and emphasizes on the principles of “Time” and “Effort”. Through this notion, one could tell how much Time and Effort is being used while one is carrying carry out their Actions; attacks/defenses.
This means, PC Fights would not be based purely off of imagination and creativity, as some would think, but documented and processed through the scientific application of Time and Energy. In essence, the more complicated and extravagant an action would be, the more Time and Energy it would take, allowing “Interruptions” to happen.
Over the course of time, however, Roleplay Fighting has shifted in unexpected ways and adopted some radical ideas, for better or worse. And because of this, there are many different versions of Roleplay Fighting all over the globe, causing them to act with the properties of “religion” opposing against one another.
Thus, Virtual Warfare is not a formula that introduces a new way of fighting, but a System that creates an overall understanding of the fundamentals within Roleplay Fighting. Therefore, even if individuals have differences during the fight, instead of bumping heads, consequently voiding the fight, the acknowledgement of the differences can be used to help build common ground to successfully “agree to disagree”.
Virtual Warfare is not a System that forces, add, subtracts or alters anything, but a System that attempts to strengthen the foundation of Roleplay Fighting; the people, by offering sophisticated yet easy methods of understanding to help Roleplayers enjoy the art of Roleplay Fighting without too many complications.
If one desire to Roleplay Fight, the successful nature of the Fight should be the main priority for both fighters, not to establish a winner. Because Roleplay Fighting is an Art and should be appreciated and respected as such, and presented in a professional and authentic manner, no matter the skill level. So anyone looking from the outside in can see that Roleplay is more than just a game, or a means of entertainment, it is an art; a lifestyle, that reveals and bears witness to a different type of Hope and Purpose into the Virtual World.
